IPC Full Form
IPC full form stands for Indian Penal Code. IPC deals with crimes and punishments.
This regulation strengthens the entire law relating to this article and clarifies the matters relating to which it has promulgated the law, in addition to this regulation several other penal laws governing various crimes have also been enacted.
This was done because the Code of Conduct does not cover all offenses and it is possible that some offenses may still be outside the scope of the Code, which was not intended to be exempt from penal consequences.
The purpose of this Act is to provide general sanctions to India. The Act does not repeal the penal laws that were in force in India at the time of its enactment.
Anyone who voluntarily has sexual intercourse with a man, woman, or animal against the dictates of nature will also be guilty and can be sentenced to life imprisonment, or an explanation that can last up to ten years, and a fine.
Structure Of IPC
The Indian Penal Code, 1860, is divided into 23 chapters and consists of 511 sections. The code begins with an introduction, provides specifications and exceptions, and covers a wide range of crimes.
