The Gate has been exchanged jointly by the Indian Science and Seven Indian Institutes of Technology at Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai (Madras), and Mumbai (Bombay).

Objective

  • This is done to gain admission to postgraduate programs in engineering and science streams.

  • Master’s degree holders in Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or any equivalent branch and who is in the final year of such programs.
  • Candidates for the second year or more of the Four-year Integrated Master’s Degree Program (Post B.Sc) in Engineering / Technology.
  • Candidates of 4th or more years of Master Degree Programs or Double Degree Programs in Engineering / Technology.
