UNO full form stands for United Nations Organization. The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization. The United Nations came into existence after World War II.

On April 25, 1945, 51 governments met for a conference in San Francisco and began drafting the United Nations Charter, which was adopted on June 25, 1945, and on October 24, 1945, the United Nations began operations.
